I have worked in the cultural film industry both in Germany and in the UK since the early 1980s. During this time I have been involved in creating, leading, managing, programming, developing film festivals (documentary, European arthouse, animation, and international children's film festivals); setting up and managing successful cinema exhibition organisations and film theatres; programming art house as well as mainstream venues; curating and marketing cinematheque events and seasons (such as a series of Cultural Open Air Cinema events). I have done film publicity for a huge variety of clients (ranging from Danny Boyle to Sylvester Stallone to the German Film Awards) and I have the experience of coordinating and managing complex projects and multi-partner collaborations in a diverse artistic environments.
