LOCATION OF TRACE 2014
TRACE 2014 will be held at the Macdonald Hotel Resort in Aviemore, a small town in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. This region is a mecca for outdoor pursuit activities with something for everyone from gentle walks, mountain biking, hill running to mountaineering to mention but a few activities.Aviemore is located in the Cairngorm Mountain National Park and is close to some of the most extensive pristine remnant patches of natural and semi-natural Scots pine woodland in Scotland. This region is one of the focal study regions for the St Andrews Tree-Ring Lab Scottish Pine Project which will be showcased as part of the conference excursion.
