Piper's paper , about many-body non-Markovian dynamics of organic polaritons has been accepted for publication in Physical Review Letters. Congratulations, Piper!
Joint work between the group and that of Moritz Cygorek and Erik Gauger at Heriot-Watt has led to a paper in Nature Physics . It is about simulating open quantum systems by compression of arbitrary environments. Joint work with the University of Bayreuth.

Our paper on a demonstrating of super-absorption in an organic microcavity has been accepted for publication in Science Advances . Well done to Dom Rouse who provided key theory work for this joint study with experimental groups in Sheffield and Milan. Joint work also with Erik Gauger at Heriot Watt and James Quach at Adelaide.

Dom R has a new paper on the arXiv, about how to calculate transition rates in polaron theory by identifying just a few key effective modes of the bath.
Well done to Dom G and Dom R, whose paper , on modelling exact dynamics of systems with non-additive environments has now appeared on the arXiv. This is joint work with the Universities of Manchester, Heriot-Watt, Strathclyde and Queensland.
Kristín has won a Royal Society of Edinburgh Saltire Fellowship to build a collaboration with the group of Jesper Mørk at the Danish Technical University. Congratulations on this prestigious award!
A new paper about lasing in ultra-small nanocavities is now on the arXiv . Kristín has developed the theory of an experiment done by Jeremy Baumberg's group in Cambridge.

Paper on the realisation of a quantum battery with colleagues from Sheffield, Milan, Adelaide and Heriot-Watt is now on the arXiv. Dom Rouse worked very hard through lockdown on some excellent theory and fitting. Well done Dom!
