Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships

The Department of Philosophy at the University of St Andrews invites candidates to apply for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships with our department as a base.

The application deadline for the 2025 call for these Fellowships is 10 September 2025. Fellowships will be provided to excellent researchers of any nationality. Applications are made jointly by the researcher and host organisation.

The Philosophy Department organises a pre-selection based on expressions of interest. Please send your expression of interest to phildor@st-andrews.ac.uk. The deadline for submitting expressions of interest is 11 July 2025.

Your expression of interest should contain the following:

• CV (max 5 pages)
• A 150-word abstract of the proposed research project
• A 2-page outline research proposal that includes details on objectives/research questions, methodology, and indication of the proposed project's contribution to scholarship and society
• Identification of potential mentor
• Indication of interest in applying for the European or Global Postdoctoral Fellowship. Please ensure that you fulfil the conditions of eligibility of the call before sending an expression of interest.

Applicants will be informed of the pre-selection outcome by 1 August 2025.
