Mara Van der Lugt’s new book received an Honourable Mention in the 2022 JHP Book Prize competition

Mara Van der Lugt’s new book, Dark Matters: Pessimism and the Problem of Suffering, has received an Honourable Mention in the 2022 Journal of the History of Philosophy Book Prize competition (for the books published in 2021).

Dark Matters was judged to be especially remarkable by this journal. The Book Prize competition was established in 2006 to highlight outstanding contributions to the history of Western philosophy; the previous recipients are listed on the journal's website.
