Set up Apps Anywhere
Apps Anywhere allows staff and students to access software applications on-demand through a web portal on any University PC.

- Go to https://appstore.st-andrews.ac.uk in your browser.
- Log in using your University username and password.
- Click It’s my first time using Apps Anywhere on this device. Let’s go.
- You'll be prompted with an Application Jukebox Player Download. If the download does not start automatically, click the Manual Download option that appears.
- Run the downloaded file: cloudpaging-player-8.9.0.exe.
- If prompted, confirm that you want to run the downloaded file as an administrator.
- Click Next.
- Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
- Continue to click Next, confirming all the default options.
- Click Install to begin the installation.
- After a few minutes, you will see Installation Completed.
- Return to Apps Anywhere and click I have it or Ok, I have it now!.
- You'll see the message Validating Session.
Click launch next to the application you want to use and it should begin to load. Contact the IT Service Desk if you're having issues.

- Double-click on the download to start the installation.
- Accept any installation prompts and install.
- Close the installation window when complete.
- Click Done.
- Click Allow when prompted to open AppsAnywhere.
- Open up the App Store on your device and find Microsoft Remote Desktop.
- Click Get the Install App.
- Sign in using your Apple ID if required.
- Return to Apps Anywhere once the download is complete.
- Click on the Launch button next to the application you want to use.
- An application specific RDP file (.rdp) file will be downloaded. Double-click on it.
- Enter your University username and password in the dialogue box and click ok.
- Accept any further prompts that might appear.
The application should begin to start up. Contact the IT Service Desk if you're having issues.
