Visitor cards

• Issue a visitor card

  1. Log in to the visitor card system with your University username and password.
  2. Click Check out next to an available visitor card.
  3. Enter the full name of the visitor.
  4. Fill in the Valid To date. This needs to be within 28 days from the start date.
  5. Click Check out card.
  6. The green circle beside the card record will turn red to show it's being used.

  The visitor can now use the card to get into selected University buildings.

• Return a visitor card

  1. Log in to the visitor card system with your University username and password.
  2. Click Check card in beside the visitor card you want to return.

  The card will no longer grant access into University buildings once it's been checked back in.

  If the card hasn't been returned on the Valid to date:

  • At 6pm, you'll receive an email reminder.
  • At midnight, the card will stop working automatically.
