Timothy Fielding was an English officer in the 1570s and 1580s. He first served as a volunteer in Captain Nicholas Palmer's [SSNE 8129] company in 1573 and then under Captain Rowland York and Captain Thomas Taylor. He returned to England as a soldier under Captain Gane in Berwick. He served as a volunteer under Captain Henry Clark in the Low Countries in 1586. He served at sea under Sir Francis Drake and Captain William Winter around 1588 (where he was wounded) then as a lieutenant under Captain Grafton in the English armada to Portugal in 1589. He served in Ireland under Sir John Norreys in 1590 and then in the Normandy expedition of 1591. He then served with Sir Walter Raleigh in his 1595 expedition to Guiana.
