Text source
Annabie Webb was a Dutch woman and widow of Captain Thomas Walters of Major John Sommerville’s [SSNE 5053] company in Colonel George Ramsay’s [SSNE 5052] regiment of the Scots-Dutch Brigade. Captain Walters was killed at the battle of Killiecrankie on 27th July 1689, a major engagement of the Scottish Highland War (1689-92).
