Text source
James Watson was a Scottish soldier serving under Captain Philip Mowbray [SSNE 8021]. On 2 January 1610 he was to marry Susanna Caddel [SSNE 7990], a "widow" from Scotland. Caddel was the "widow" to one William Stubert, who had served under Captain Oliver Udny [SSNE 8013], although her marriage to Watson was prevented on the discovery that Stubert was still alive.
