William Dunckel and Richard Woodall[SSNE 6571]had both engaged in building ships in Norway in 1605 although this went against King Christian IV's royal decree banning foreigners from building and then exporting large vessels. Woodall and Dunckel imported various materials for constructing the ships and they now wanted permission to sell the items or be allowed to re-export itNorske Rigsregistranter, vol.4 (1870), p.129.
