DRUMMOND, BEATA [SSNE 6410]

Beata Drummond was the daughter of a Scottish soldier, Francis Drummond [SSNE 2401] and Swedish noble woman, Kristina Eketrä. Her father had served as a soldier in the Swedish army in the first half of the 17th century. He is mentioned in the Swedish sources from around 1636 when he served as an ensign in the Kalmar regiment. He rose through the ranks until his death on 22 September 1656 in Neumarkt, Germany.
Beata had a sister, Elisabet [SSNE 6409].
