Mark Hume was an officer in the Danish-Norwegian army. He served as an ensign in Lord Spynie's [SSNE 177] regiment from 1627. He received his reckoning by 18 October 1628. As Lord Spynie's steward, he bought 2 lasts of Rostock beer from Robert Lorimer [SSNE 1135] of Elsinore in 1627T. Riis, Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot (Odense, 1988), II, p.141 (RA.
