John Wood was a Scottish officer in Swedish service. He was an ensign in Alexander Hamilton [SSNE 360]/ John Hamilton's [SSNE 2595] regiment in 1632. This regiment transferred to the command of Ludowick Leslie [SSNE 396] and took part in the battle of Lutzen. He may have been related to Robert [SSNE 3798] and John [SSNE 3796]Swedish Krigsarkiv, Muster Roll, 1632/30
