Text source
Henrik Ramel travelled to England in 1586. Mandrup Parsberg travelled with Henrik Belov and Henrik Ramel and Nicolaus Theophilus to Scotland. Parsberg claimed they were shown little hopitality in Scotland which meant that the Scots agents were to be treated accordingly on their missions to Denmark. They were in fact to sustain themselves. In 1600, Ramel visited England on a mission to Elizabeth Tudor's commissioners. His companions were Parsberg, Christian Friis, Niels Krag and Jonas Charisius. In 1605, now as foreign chancellor, creditives were issued to Ramel on the 6th of August and 24th of September to deal with James StuartE. Marquard, Danske Gesandter og Gesandtskabspersonale indtil 1914 (Copenhagen, 1952).
