Robert Gerner/Gairdner was a Scottish officer in Swedish service. He was an ensign in the Abo and Bjorneborg cavalry in 1636. In 1642/43 he was commander of Meiningen (Thuringia), 1648, after the death of Caspar Ermes, for a short time also commander of Erfurt. He was probably the son of William Gerner [SSNE 6709].
