The ethnicity pay gap data presented here was correct as of the 31st March 2019. Calculations in this report include all permanent, fixed term and flexible contract staff.
Total workforce breakdown
285 staff members are Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic which is 8% of the total population. The ethnicity of 402 staff members is unknown, this accounts for 11%. 3,021 staff members are White, this is 81% of the total staff population.
Mean ethnicity pay gap
Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic staff earnt a mean average of £16.75 per hour, whereas White staff earnt a mean average of £17.73 per hour. This is a 5.5% ethnicity pay gap in favour of White staff.
Median ethnicity pay gap
Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic staff earnt a median average of £16.38 per hour, whereas White staff earnt a median average of £15.03 per hour. This represents a nine-percentage point gap in favour of Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic staff.
