Last night we played Rossie Priory in glorious evening sunshine, restricting them to 97 in 20 overs with an excellent all round fielding performance. In our reply Stan made batting look easy until he made getting run out look even easier, triggering some familiar batting wobbles which ensured that the entire team got to bat, with the winning runs coming off the penultimate ball. Champagne moment was unquestionably Manzoor's huge six over extra cover, played with exquisite timing and no apparent effort. Remarkable.
