Fantasy Logic League - Standings after Round 3

Apologies for the delay. As some of you may have noticed, The Editor has not been well recently.

Once again, your marked scripts for Round 3 will be retrievable from Balliol Lodge. They will be in the envelope marked "Logic League" in the possession of the Porters.

I have some answers in for Round 4, but have yet to hear from A.N.O.N.Y.M.O.U.S and Logicians Only Do Logic. (At the moment, it seems, they don't even do that). I will hold the competition open until Tuesday lunchtimeso they can get their act together. Meanwhile, Round 5 is already posted. Just one question, but it's a toughie. No doubt you will solve it eventually, but the hard part will be in explaining your solution fully but concisely.

There seems to be no stopping Logiathan at the moment. They saw through my cunning sleight of hand on Questions I and K. I shall have to up the ante. But I did manage to fool some of you, with the result that The Ponies have leapt up the Leaderboard. I fear we have lost R2D2, which is sad.

For those who did not notice, the key information in Q.I. was that even to tell you how many theories were right 'would give the game away completely'. Which means that only one number of correct theories (3, as most of you discerned) would give a unique solution. This is a standard setter's trick, and I may use it again. You have been warned.

And on Q.K. it helps to remember the possibility of ambiguity. And realise that Chaplains can marry any number of people without thereby becoming married to them.

Otherwise, people are deducing rather well, so I have upped the standards for transparency in solutions. You lose marks for any handwaving ("similarly we could deduce...", "continuing in this way we arrive t the answer..."). Not good enough for me, because such remarks do not differentiate you from people who cannot quite see the way to the solution, and decide to busk it. Make sure you prove that your answer is the correct one.
