The Scottish Credit Accumulation and Transfer (SCOTCAT) system allows credits gained in Scotland to be transferred between institutions. The number of credits associated with a module gives an indication of the amount of learning effort required by the learner. European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits are half the value of SCOTCAT credits.

Module description

This module follows RU2203. It is the language track at second level for students who took the advanced modules (RU1005 and RU1006) at first level. The most important elements of Russian grammar covered in RU2203 are reinforced in this course and further key points of intermediate grammar are introduced. Students will develop comprehension and writing skills in response to contemporary audio-visual and online material. Spoken Russian is improved through small-group oral classes with a native language instructor.
