The Scottish Credit Accumulation and Transfer (SCOTCAT) system allows credits gained in Scotland to be transferred between institutions. The number of credits associated with a module gives an indication of the amount of learning effort required by the learner. European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits are half the value of SCOTCAT credits.

Module description

This Second Level Italian module aims at further developing the language skills acquired in First level Italian modules, and at enabling students to achieve an intermediate level in reading, writing, listening and speaking in Italian. The module also introduces students to diverse elements of Italian culture across different periods.
