Module description
This module builds upon the foundational contexts discussed in the first semester, while introducing students to a number of additional critical approaches to texts written in Old English, Middle English, and Older Scots. Sessions will address questions of style and form and texts will be organised according to a second thematic strand, which may include discussions of voice, writing, and authorship.
