Module description
A two-week intensive Arabic language course introducing beginners to the fundamentals of Modern Standard Arabic (level 2 in speaking, listening, reading, and writing). Students will spend 5 hours per day learning and practicing Arabic in classroom. Students should plan on studying additional 3-4 hours in afternoons. Class work will be supplemented with cultural activities in afternoons and evenings. At the conclusion of the course, students can expect to be able to speak about themselves and their world in Modern Standard Arabic, as well as to engage in conversations and basic written communications about familiar topics with native speakers.
