Module description

In the decades around CE700 a number of northern writers, notably Adomnán of Iona (†704) and Bede of Monkwearmouth-Jarrow (†735), looked back on the history of their region. Their historical horizons, for different reasons, lay in the middle of the sixth.

Coursework = 70%, 3-hour Written Examination = 30%
