Module description

This module will focus on integrating health/medical humanities within health professions education. Students will have the opportunity to explore a range of arts and humanities approaches that can help to optimise, broaden, and deepen learning outcomes within health professions education. This will include considering how theoretical humanities approaches and practical arts learning can be incorporated within teaching practice in a variety of learning contexts. This module will be fully online with a mix of synchronous and asynchronous learning. Live synchronous teaching will be scheduled in GMT. Participants must have access to a device with internet connection, webcam, and microphone.

The module will comprise approximately 2 hours synchronous teaching delivered fortnightly. Attendance will be required for all scheduled synchronous teaching.
