The Scottish Credit Accumulation and Transfer (SCOTCAT) system allows credits gained in Scotland to be transferred between institutions. The number of credits associated with a module gives an indication of the amount of learning effort required by the learner. Module description

This is the first part of the core language module for all students of Italian in the second year of the Honours programme. Its aim is to develop advanced communication skills, both oral and written, in Italian, and it comprises (1) weekly oral skills classes in which students follow a programme of contemporary topics, using written and audio-visual materials, and (2) weekly written expression workshops developing the productive skills of essay and report writing.
