Conflict in Ukraine
As events in Ukraine unfold, we understand that our offer holders, applicants, and prospective applicants will have concerns and questions. We are committed to supporting and advising you at this exceptionally difficult time. Please contact us via admissions@st-andrews.ac.uk if you have any questions.
We will also provide further information as we are able to do so – updates will be published here.
St Andrews is a global community whose values are founded on tolerance, respect and inclusivity. Our thoughts remain with all of those affected by the conflict.
This page outlines the entry requirements for students who normally live in Poland and wish to study at the University of St Andrews. This includes the academic and English language requirements, as well as information on fees, scholarships and visas.
EU entrants fee status
If you are an EU national with pre-settled or settled status living in the UK you are likely to have a 'Home (Scotland)' fee status.
UK nationals who are living in the EU, EEA or Switzerland are likely to be considered as either 'Home' or 'Rest of the UK' for tuition fee purposes.
In all instances, applicants must meet the residency conditions of three years in the UK, EU, EEA, or Switzerland.
Full details, including the definition of ordinary residence, can be found in the SAAS guidance document UK, EU, EEA and Swiss nationals residence conditions. This document also explains the student finance options for eligible students.
