Find out if you are eligible for our International Foundation programme
At St Andrews we have three different pathways for our international foundation students. These have been designed for overseas students who are studying on a qualification in their high school that does not allow them to apply for direct entry to an undergraduate degree.
Remember, if you are studying a qualification that is recognised for direct entry, such as three A Levels, the HKDSE or a full IB Diploma, you must apply direct. You can see all our undergraduate degrees and register your interest here.
For those students who are overseas for fee purposes and unable to apply for direct entry, you can choose one of three options:
- International Year One - a range of science programmes which lead on to year two of an undergraduate degree
- International Year Zero - more general programmes in science, humanities or business which lead to year one of a degree
- International Pre-Med - various options for those looking at a career in medicine
