PhD candidates from low and middle income Commonwealth countries to spend 12 months at a UK university as part of their doctoral studies in their home country.
Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme (CSSS)

For students from eligible low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries, who have not studied for a year or more in a high-income country before, and are accepted to study an eligible full-time postgraduate Masters programme.
British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM
