The Global Office offers the Agnes Glynn Travel Bursaries to support Modern Languages students studying or working abroad for credit as part of their degree programme.

Successful applicants will be awarded a £1,000 scholarship and must provide a short report to the donors on completion of the placement.

Recipients can study a language as a single subject or as part of a joint degree programme.

Preference will be given to applicants with financial need.

Please apply for the award after you have submitted your application for a place at St Andrews. You do not need to wait until you have received an offer of a place before applying for the award.

You will be asked to upload a document detailing a budget breakdown relating to your placement.

In this document, please use separate lines for transport, accommodation and subsistence costs.

Further breakdown is required if you intend to travel to multiple locations.
