Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission (MACC)

Founded by a 1953 Act of Parliament and named in honour of US Secretary of State George C Marshall, the scholarships commemorate the humane ideals of the Marshall Plan and express the continuing gratitude of the British people to their American counterparts. Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. Up to fifty Scholars are selected each year to study at graduate level at a UK institution in any field of study. 

The University of St Andrews has an agreement with Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission (MACC). This Scholarship is for Graduate Study in any subject at either Masters or Doctoral level at the University of St Andrews and will be for up to two years (with a possibility of a third year for doctoral studies).
