Studying the MSc in Health Data Science at the University of St Andrews has been an extraordinary experience, thanks to the DAAD scholarship. Both the unique academic setting and the vibrant student life are the two main reasons why I highly recommend pursuing a postgraduate degree here. The one-year masters degree experience is truly singular: intense, fast-paced, fun, and always very supportive. The friendly and welcoming community makes it easy to meet people and form lasting connections and the support from the staff and professors is exceptional. They are always kind, helpful, and ready to assist whenever needed, making the intense academic journey much smoother and more enjoyable. Living in the town of St Andrews is just as enriching. Being so close to the ocean and surrounding nature makes for a very inspiring environment, and you can always distract yourself by practicing your golf!
