Environmental information

Environmental information that the University holds is subject to the Environmental Information ( Scotland ) Regulations 2004. The Regulations apply to a slightly wider range of organisations than does the Freedom of Information ( Scotland ) Act 2002, and there are some differences in how you get information under the Act and under the Regulations which are outlined on the Scottish Information Commissioner's website.

Anyone anywhere in the world is entitled to access the environmental information the University holds. Information is made available either proactively, e.g. through the webpages of the University or in response to a request. Information may be withheld from disclosure and fees charged for the provision of information in certain circumstances.

In some instances a charge may be made for the provision of information and the University's charging policy in this regard is outlined in the .
