Medical Anthropology Special Issue on Disease Reservoirs
Medical Anthropology has published the special issue "Disease Reservoirs: Anthropological and Historical Approaches" edited by Matheus Alves Duarte da Silva, Oliver French, Frédéric Keck and Jules Skotnes-Brown.
Comprising nine articles, the special issue is the first edited collection of the Wellcome-funded project The Global War Against the Rat (PI Christos Lynteris). The collection explores the key epidemiological and public health notion of disease reservoirs and its applications to different historical and ethnographic contexts across the globe.
The special issue is the result of the first annual conference of The Global War Against the Rat project. The majority of the articles are published OA. To access the collection, visit Medical Anthropology.
