New Lectureship in Energy Ethics
The Department of Social Anthropology is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Energy Ethics.
We are looking for a scholar with an international research reputation in the anthropology of energy and a commitment to deliver high quality teaching within the discipline of Social Anthropology, and the broader fields of interdisciplinary energy research, finance, and policy. Working with colleagues across all Faculties of the University, the successful candidate will lead and deliver the new MSc in Energy Ethics and take on the Deputy Director role of the Centre for Energy Ethics, as well as contribute to the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and strengthen research interests in the Department.
Candidates should hold a PhD in a cognate discipline. Excellent team building skills, a passion for teaching, and an interest in promoting inclusive and creative knowledge exchange are essential. You should also have some familiarity with attracting external research funding from research councils or other sources.
