Emergencies

In the case of an emergency, call 999 (or 9999 from a University phone).

The University's Security and Response Team is also available at all hours to deal with security incidents and provide emergency support. Phone: +44 (0)1334 46 8999. 

Meal times

Meals are served at the following times for those on a catered contract:

Monday to Friday

  • Breakfast: 8am to 9.30am
  • Lunch: 12 noon to 1.30pm
  • Dinner: 5.30pm to 7pm

Saturday and Sunday

  • Breakfast: 8am to 9.30am
  • Lunch: 12 noon to 1.30pm

Facilities

  • Laundry: the laundry rooms are open from 9am to 10pm
  • Common room, TV lounges and C floor study rooms: open all the time
  • Mail: you can collect mail and unregistered parcels from the mailboxes in the common room. For registered parcels, the residence team will send you an email when your parcel arrives with details for collection. Due to import duty and VAT, all personal parcels must be marked 'Personal'.
