Guests

Temporary guests are allowed in residences for up to three days in any week, and no more than twice in a four-week period. Guests are not encouraged to stay during Orientation Week - this is so you can settle in and meet other students.

All overnight guests must be recorded. You can do this by either notifying your residential service manager or porter (see contact details for individual halls) or by completing the guest sign-in book if there is one available in your hall.

Any University staff member has the right to refuse the admission of guests and visitors.

In shared rooms, you may only entertain guests if you have prior agreement with your roommate. In shared houses and flats, you should check with your housemates if guests can stay.

You are responsible for the behaviour and actions of your guests. The University accepts no liability for guests or their possessions.

Please see the terms of occupancy.
