Electronic research notebooks (ERNs)
What is an ERN?
An electronic research notebook (ERN) is an online system with a variety of features that can support your work. Features like inventories, scheduling, automatic backups, automated version control, real-time collaboration, searchability, syncing across devices, storage in many different file types, and tagging can support projects from any discipline. Plugins and widgets can open up further use capabilities. Electronic research notebooks have functionalities that support research in both humanities and sciences.
