Visiting scholars
The School of Psychology and Neuroscience welcomes visiting scholars who are of benefit to the School through enhancement of research activities or through other contributions. Visiting scholars should contact the potential academic host in the first instance, and the host is required to gain approval from the School in advance of the visit, using the School's visiting scholar application form. In addition, and in tandem with the School form it is necessary to complete the University’s visiting scholar notification form which can be found on the visiting scholars and students page.
Upon arrival, visiting scholars are encouraged to attend School events, such as research seminars, and are welcomed as full colleagues. Visiting scholars are therefore expected to pay fees and will normally be provided with a desk, computer facilities and access to the University library. Access to specific research facilities must be discussed in advance.
The University has further information for visiting scholars and students including information regarding fees.
