Evening degree - Combined Studies MA (General)
The School of Psychology and Neuroscience has contributed to the evening degree programme (Combined Studies MA) since its introduction at the end of the last century. Modern psychology is about the fundamental understanding of perception, thinking, motivation and behaviour at several different levels, including the study of animal and human brains that perform all of these tasks.
Content
The School offers modules at levels equivalent to the first three years of an undergraduate degree which mirror the topics and content of the full-time degree with a range of assessments designed to address the core topics provided by the programme. The topics listed below reflect the British Psychology Society (BPS) curriculum.
- Biological psychology
- Cognitive psychology
- Developmental psychology
- Social psychology
- Conceptual and historical issues in psychology
