International Day

The School of Physics and Astronomy celebrated its inaugural International Day Celebration on 31 August 2022 as organized by the EDI committee of the School. The successful event was well-participated by members from 18 countries (Ghana, Germany, Nigeria, Russia, Ecuador, Spain, Poland, Brazil, Mexico, Iran, Netherlands, Romania,  Srilanka, Japan,  India, Pakistan, Ireland, China, Scotland, UK). The event consisted of a potluck lunch from these international members of the School, displaying the national flag of each country, special greeting words from them, and many members wore their traditional costumes too. The event was attended by  ~80–100 people.
