Course information
This workshop aims to help colleagues who may be interested in becoming an external examiner for another institution. We will cover policy (institutional and external), and there will be interactive discussions with presenters who have experience in external examining.
Aims and objectives
By the end of this workshop, participants will
- Understand policy surrounding becoming an external examiner for another institution
- Have had the opportunity to engage with experienced external examiners and ask questions
- Understand common responsibilities of external examiners
