Postgraduate researchers unfamiliar with this bibliographic management software.
Course pre-work
Online Attendees must have EndNote installed on their device (PC or Mac) prior to the beginning of the session. For in person, students should have it installed beforehand if they want to use their own device, although EndNote will be available on the classroom PCs. EndNote can be downloaded from: Apps Anywhere

EndNote is a leading bibliographic software, designed to efficiently manage your references. Easily store book and journal entries, locate and archive PDFs, and seamlessly fetch references from databases like JSTOR and Web of Science. With its Word plugin, automatically format citations in styles such as APA, Harvard, or Chicago, and generate bibliographies effortlessly. Best of all, the University offers it for free, allowing download to your personal device (PC or Mac).

Aims and objectives
By the end of this workshop you should be able to:
- Create an EndNote Library and be able to input references from a wide range of information sources.
- Use key functionality within EndNote to search and organise your references.
- output the references in your required referencing style into Microsoft Word for your essays, theses or publications.
