Teaching
In the German department I provide teaching and supervision at all levels, with a focus on 20th and 21st Century literature, history and culture. My areas of specialism include:
- Theories of Memory
- The Nazi past in German culture
- Holocaust studies
- East German Cinema and Culture
- Contemporary film and literature
I have also taught on and contributed to the development of the School’s Comparative Literature programme since its launch in 2011. Here I offer teaching on a wide range of texts, genres and theories, including both established and newly emerging approaches to the discipline.
