Creative writing competition

This year, the French department took part in a creative competition co-organised with the Universities of Napier and Edinburgh, with
support from the French Institute and the Franco-Scottish Society. Many students entered the competition, and first-year student Lucia Cathers was delighted to win third prize for her text ‘Ne me hantez pas’ during the awards ceremony on 21 November. All texts entered in the competition have been turned into posters by Graphic Design students from the Edinburgh College and are currently on display at the French Institute on the Royal Mile.
