Festival of Languages: A Call for Interest

Building on the success of the first-ever St Andrews Festival of Languages, in October 2024, another Festival is planned for October 2026, hosted again by the Byre. Over a week, this Festival will bring together a series of events showcasing languages. The Festival will bring together creative practitioners of present and past, diverse languages, genres and themes, and engage with a wide public. It will also involve translation, creative writing, language tasters, with hybrid digital and in-person sessions. It will show that languages can be festive and fun.
