Funding for study abroad placements in France, Germany, and Spain

The School is now accepting applications from current students for the 2025 Stevenson Exchange Scholarships.

The Stevenson Exchange Scholarships are intended to promote strong and lasting connections between university students in Scotland and their peers in France, Germany, and Spain.

Scholarships are typically awarded for one academic year and can be held at any university in France, Germany, or Spain. 

In recent years scholarships have ranged in value from £250 to £3,000. A limited number of smaller scholarships may also be awarded for periods of not less than four months. Scholarships may be held with other awards/scholarships.

Current School of Modern Languages students can submit their application now; applications must be submitted by 4pm (UK time) Monday 3 March 2025. Please see the student handbook for full details about the Stevenson Exchange Scholarships.
