CareerSet – CV Optimisation Platform

Careers Centre at the University of St Andrews are rolling out CareerSet, an online platform that enables students to improve their CVs independently.

CareerSet offers the following features to students:

• scoring of their CVs
• personalised, actionable feedback to improve their CVs  
• the targeting of CVs to specific job descriptions, based on keywords and skills
• useful resources, such as CV templates and sample CV lines.

Careers Centre are looking to utilise CareerSet to reach more students, as well as to improve follow-up sessions, since the CV writing fundamentals will already be addressed.
