Giving to Modern Languages at St Andrews

Did you, or someone you know, enjoy or benefit from studying languages or comparative literature at St Andrews? Or do you simply value the study of languages?

The School of Modern Languages has a number of ways in which you can contribute financially to those who study languages at St Andrews.

  • Masters degree bursaries - helping students on the MLitt in Comparative Literature, the MLitt in Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, or the School's innovative distance learning MSc in Global Digital Humanities
  • Study abroad bursaries - helping students undertaking study aboard placements in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian, and Spanish
  • Doctoral degree scholarship - adding an annual stipend to a School-funded fee-award to create a fully-funded scholarship
  • Unrestricted donations for the School of Modern Languages to be used at the Head of School's discretion to respond to needs as they arise

Any gift you would like to give, no matter how small, can make a difference to the School's ability to help students. 100% of your donation goes to these funds.

Donations can be made using the academic schools donation form.
