On Tuesday 1 August 2023, The School of Management and School of Economics and Finance at the University of St Andrews merged creating the Departments of Management, Economics and Finance.
These three new departments lay the foundation of a business school at the University of St Andrews, officially launching in August 2024. During this transition year, education and research delivery will not change.
The business school will be uniquely St Andrews – world-leading, diverse, digital, sustainable, and entrepreneurial. Its future is for the University of St Andrews community, the students and staff, to shape.
Learn more and find out how to contribute here.
The departments' former school names may still appear in logos, branding, documentation, online and on campus during the academic year 2023/2024. These will be phased out and replaced with the new department names between August 2023 and August 2024.
If you have any queries, please contact Director of Postgraduate Research at mgmtdopgr@st-andrews.ac.uk or visit the Business School Transition website.
